I imagine this will work but just after others thoughts
I currently have a gigabyte netbook that is touchscreen. It come with windows 7 installed but the hardrive was partitioned so it had 32bit win 7 and 64bit win 7 installed. Was odd but i just left it.
I want to try win 8 to see how well the touch goes on it.
I have 5 partitions -
recovery partition
boot partition
c partition (win 7 32 bit installed)
d partition (win 7 64 bit installed) logical drive extended partition
e drive (data drive) logical drive extended partition
If i was to just boot from win 8 dvd and install to d partition would this work fine and i'd be able to choose win 8 or win 7.
Just wanted to clarifiy i have it correct
