Windows 8 Preview/Demo?

So I bought a Windows 8 upgrade version but shipping will take awhile and I'm just curious if there is a way to get it installed now and then activate it when my copy of Windows 8 arrives?

I found this for example but it needs a key:

Windows 8 doesn't operate in Trial mode like 7, Vista, and XP did. You need a key in order to even start installing it. So no, you're going to have to wait.
