Hi, after finally getting windows 8 to install on my ssd, it was working fine but then tried to automatically update (guessing to 8.1) but I then got a blue screen bsod and the error was WHEA_UCORRECTABLE_ERROR, i googled this and the results suggested a hardware issue, is there anything I can scan it find faulty hardware? This bring me to my next proble I have since restored the computer to its last good running point, but now it won't install my wireless card, everytime the installation bar reaches the end the computer freezes and I have to hold the power button then reboot, and my card is not installed. Any help would be great. Cheers

Wireless card problem is now fixed and installed.

If anyone can recommend a programme i can download to scan my hardware to see if there's an issue would te great, I believe it could be my ssd, it's the only thing in the comp that isn't new.

Ok so a got all the updates to to install and downloaded 8.1 but then after installing an app, the computer just froze and when I reboot I get the bsod saying the same error as above, could it be my ssd? It's the only part that's not new on the rig.

Ok guys, so now and again windows is loading, but then it will just freeze and I have to restart, after restarting it won't load and gives me that bsod as stated above, the computer will load in safe mode, but I have no idea haw to search for the problem, after I restart it in safe mode, there is 50/50 chance it will boot into windows, or is says it can't boot and needs to restart, not sure if it's a hard drive issue or how to get to the bottom of it.
