Windows 9 to debut in 2015

Windows 9... Ehhh, I'll stick with Windows 95 ;)

But seriously. I'm excited. It should, should be much better than 8.x

Hate metro. Has nothing to do with adapt or learning curve. Can use it fine, took 15 minutes to figure it out. The only three desktop OS microshaft has made worth a crap is 98SE/2000 which is the same as XP with Disney theme and 7. With ME/Vista and 8. You know the saying, if you put crap in the brim of a hat and wear it long enough, you wont smell it anymore.
once you click the desktop interface button, really, windows 8.1 is fine.

Short and simple: I AGREE WITH ALL THREE OF YOU.

,...it really annoyed me when apps were opening in full screen mode

Well yea that was a new different change I noticed in Windows 8. :P
But then again the WINDOWS DESKTOP APP worked normal as it always did and apps being opened on it were opening normally just like they always did on previous Windows versions...So I guess I cannot complain.

It didn't for me, when I was at the desktop and clicked on an app I pinned on the taskbar, it launched in full screen mode. It felt impossible to simply open multiple instances of the same program like IE, FF, Explorer, etc. and move them around.

There ARE ways to accomplish this.
But yea I agree with you anyway...it is kinda stupid that a user should do something extra just to be able to have multiple instances opened at the same time and to be able to move them around.
But like I said...there are ways to do this.
