Windows 95 and Vista

I have acquired an older game that only runs on Windows 95, and I currently have Vista. So my question is, what are my options?

Is is somehow possible to download Windows 95 somewhere to use for gaming, and then switch back to Vista for everything else?

I don't know much on this, any help is much appreciated.

um not without owning a 95 license you cant

if you had on you could run it either on dual boot or Virtual Machine

OR...

While running Vista, you can right click on the specific programs icon (example: game.exe).
select "Properties"
select the "Compatibility" tab
finally, select the OS that's needed for the Application to run.

Just to let you know,You might have trouble running Windows 95 on a Modern machine.

Due to some chipset limitations, some motherboards dont work with anything under windows 98.

Mine wont anyway and mines an older p35 chipset so probably even worser on newer chipsets than that.

Okay. I simply switched the compatibility options from Windows XP to Windows 98/ Me and it works great!

What game is it? I got C&C 95 to work in Vista 64-bit.
