Working on a computer for someone, has windows 98 installed the when trying to dial in the computer freezes, tried to reinstall the modem and reinstalled drivers. removed the old modem.
any suggestions?

what do you mean dial in, are you talking about dial-up ?
try a new modem !!
windows 98 is down use 2000

Friend I'm not satisfied with your question..I think you are talking about dail up connections..you can also have properties of my computer ..go to hardware and there you can get your modem software and try to reinstall it ..may this helps you
