Windows activation.

i Had this windows xp sp2 OS disk in my room, but when lost the activation key and its not on it, i lost it. I tried editing the regestry values to stop the activation from coming but it didnt work it kinda just hid the count down. can any body help?
 
No body can say it due to forum rules or no one can say anything because theres nothing to do, I think i can call them and get a they confirm over telephone. Also, just wonder how does software track time? i changed the time on my bios, to see but nothing, also disconnected from internet to make sure it didnt check a server
 
Nobody can give you suggestions to manipulate a Windows trial to work as a registered version. Yes because it infringes with forum rules.

Different programs use different means of tracking time, some simply sync with the time from windows, some via the internet, some have an internal clock.
