Windows BCD issue

Ok, I have botched somehow, don't quite remember what I have done to do it, my BCD files to Vista and XP.

Here is what I have tried to fix it.
1. Hooked up the drive to a desktop and ran easyBCD without effect.

What I have noticed is that in Ubuntu I can see the XP and Vista partitions, inclooding teh Boot folder, boot.ini and bootmgr. I can not however view these files in ubuntu (with my knowledge). Is there any way that I can just go in and like replace the folders or something to restore them? I am sure that if I can fix Vista, XP will be detected and fall in line.

That will not help at all. The issue is not with GRUB, I can boot into Ubuntu and Crunchbang just fine. There is the issue with windows not booting at all. It shows up in GRUB, but it will not boot giving an error screen with something about the BCD, I don't remember the exact message off hand.

It has tools to fix the mbr along with other various windows boot problems, It's not merely a grub tool.

made some headway. Got a windows 7 disk and ran the repair (it worked sort of) on it. Now i can boot into windows Vista and Crunchbang. Somehow my data partition has a boot flag and entry in GRUB. Ubuntu lost its entry. here is a pictorial representation of whats going on.

I have run
Code:
 Sudo update-grub
in crunchbang, but it didn't help, it is only seeing CB now. I do not really want to loose Ubuntu, but I can reinstall there. I really need XP back though, as all my contacts and calendar are in it. Is there something more I can do?
