Errmmm...where to begin. Installed Ubuntu 6.06, but when i couldnt get wireless sorted, gave up on that. Removed it. Decided that i should not have given up so easily, and reinstalled it. But........when i was installing it, I f***ed up, selecting the wrong option. Have deleted my windows partion, S**T! (Dont install operating system when stoned!) So..my question, how do i go about getting windows back in. I dont have the CD! But i have the product key sticker on the back. If that matters. Can anything be done, or do i have to go and buy it.

Cheers

If you have a PC with Windows pre-installed, such as a gateway, hp or dell, there may be a recovery partition on the PC. Watch the bootup screen closely, it may say "Hit F1 for recovery" this will launch the recovery process. Or check your user manual. Or contact the manufacturer for a set of recovery disks.

No i definantly don't have that! I was under the impression that i cant use the recovery disk because I dont have the original motherboard. Had to get a new one cause of a power surge! Is this true, where do i go from here?
