Windows confused about System Memory

This has been this way since I installed the 4GB of RAM and I've noticed this, but am barely getting around to asking about it.

I'm running Vista 64bit and it's reporting my system memory as 3326MB as seen in the attachment. The memory has tested good.

As you can see in Computer it has it indicated correctly, but dxdiag and Task Manager show the lower number. The bios shows it correctly, so I think it's a Windows issue. Help!!!

What's that option at the bottom? Run 64 bit Direct X Diagnostic?

What does your BIOS report it as?

Are you sure you are running Vista Ultimate x64, the memory config. looks like your running Vista Ultimate x32.

Yeah I agree, double check the make sure you have 64 bit and not 32 bit. The window in the back of your screenshot is not relevant. I'm running 32 bit with 4GB of RAM as well and it says "4.00GB" but in task manager it says I only have a total of 3581MB of physical memory.

if you truly are running x64 then you need to go into bios and see if theres a setting to unlock all the memory.
