windows copy

hi , i have a copy of windows xp home edition,
it is a correct copy. it came wiht my brothers computer, but for some insane reason, it hasnt the installation code on the packet, and his computer dosnt have the sticker,,
anyway , i was woundering if there was some way to get the installation code?
as i need it now , as my version of windows is not working well :S. and i havent a c.d. .........
any info would be great :S

Try contacting the manufacturer of the computer, maybe they can help you -or you can try calling microsoft...

maybe its an oem copy, like for reformating?

If it is a legitimate full disc, you can grab the code off your brother's pc using this utility.

it may be legit on your brothers system but it wont be if you put it on your and run it on both.
