Windows Defender compatibility

I was thinking of downloading Windows Defender to help protect my computer. I already run Pest Patrol and wondered if running 2 anti-spyware programs at the same time would cause any problems? Since they both are always scanning for the same types of spyware/malware. I know running 2 anti-virus programs together is NOT a good idea. What about 2 or more anti-spyware programs?
If there were compatibility problems what should I look out for? What problems could this create for me? Thanks for any help:D

usually spyware programs will not interfear with each other, but just try it out and you'll know for sure.

Windows Defender runs well with AVG, AdAware, Ewido now known as the AVG Anti-Spyware Free, and other programs without problems. Most of the time these will either remain idle or run unnoticed in the background except for antivirus programs that can interfere with games and other programs at times and have to be temporarily disabled.
