When i turn my pc on for the first time like in the morning after its been sitting for a few hours, windows freezes on the 1st boot so i have to restart and it runs fine the 2nd boot. Can any one help me with why this is happening. Im thinking it could have been from a bad overclock a while back but i fixed the pc after that and ive been having weird problems with the operating system. Yes, i have reformatted but still happens. Also when i go into safe mode it takes like 10 mintues to get past the /mup file hmm? Any help would be apreciated.

Formatting your hard drive doesn't mean it's free of glitches/lockups. It could be a lot of things, but my guess is either the hard drive or motherboard.
