i told them to send the error report and it opened the log here is what they said:

-Error type : Windows stop error (A message appears on a blue screen with error code information)

-Solution available? : No (see Next steps)
What does this error mean? : Windows has encountered an error from which it cannot recover and needs to restart

-Cause : Unknown device driver
Computer symptoms : A message appears on a blue screen with error code information (for example: e.g. 0x0000001E, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED)

-Additional steps for you to take : Important: Please continue to send error reports so analysts at Microsoft can study and try to correct the problem as quickly as possible.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS? I doubt microsoft will come up with a problem anytime soon.
anyone know the problem?

this right here is telling you your problem you have a driver that is causing your problems have you recently installed any new hardware or drivers or done any updates?

Sactown and Dominic, if you guys want help, please give me the error codes you are recieving it looks like this 0x0000001E, but there are 4 of them. I need them, they should be in parenthesis on the blue screen.

well my pc was running normally up until i installed kaspersky
i laready uninstalled it and its registry keys, but no change

does anyone reccommend i dl all the updates microsoft gives me?

but, im pretty sure its from kaspersky because it was normal before it

Hey this sort of thing happend to me, i restored windows and it seems to be fine (well so far so good).

well my problem is that i reformatted my pc twice in two weeks already because of previous problems i had

the first time i had a masked rootkit, so i reformatted
the second time it started crashing all the time

after teh second reformat it was working fine up until i installed kaspersky

so, this time im gonna install all the programs i had pre-root kit days + AVG

ONE MORE QUESTION EVERYBODY. WHEN WINDOWS HAS UPDATES, DO YOU THINK I SHOULD INSTALL ALL OF THOSE UPDATES?

i usually just install all the windows updates because they are there for a reason they wouldnt put them out there if they didnt need to. Most are fixes for bugs and security flaws and take up little space at all on your hdd just set it to automatic for like 4am and let it go on its own!

Yes, I agree with codeman. Always download the updates as they are there for a reason.

I'll help you out...

It would be much appreciated if you could please download HiJackThis and post a logfile. To do that, please follow these steps:
  1. Download HiJackThis.zip
  2. Unzip it to a permanent directory. This will keep HJT and its backups in a common place. A very good place to put it is C:\HJT
  3. Open HiJackThis.exe and select the option to "Do a system scan and save a logfile"
  4. A notepad window will popup with all the information I need. Please paste its contents in a reply to this thread.
Note: do not attempt to "Fix" anything, as we need to see the entire log.
Also if you have any Startup items unchecked in Msconfig, check those items, reboot, then post a fresh log. HijackThis can not "see" disabled items in Startup.

i having problem with this, it prompt me when the com restart.

Dominic from researching those 2 programs it appears you need to try to do a repair on your windows, and if that doesnt fix it then you should reformatt your computer. To repair boot from the cd and go to the repair option when you get a comand prompt tell it to log into the windows copy you are using should be 1 then type chkdsk /r and let it go and it doesnt hurt to do this a second time after it finishes the first time. If this does not fix the problems then you should reformatt your hard drive.
