Hi guys I am currently using a non legit copy of windows 7 which I do not want to use and am trying to install my original copy of XP...However 7 has done something to stop XP from installing, I have wiped the hard drive and tried a fresh install and still will not let me, I have swaped the hard drive to another computer and installed XP on it so I am guessing it is something in the bios?

Help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Go into the bios and find a setting to change the SATA controller to native IDE or IDE instead of RAID/AHCI. Then try reinstalling XP. If there is no setting then you will have to slipstream the sata controller driver into a new XP install cd.
