I am not a moder, never have been. I consider myself an awful handyman. I just purchased a window mod for my case, so what exactly do i have to do when i get it? What extra tools will I need?

Doing sheetmetal work can be very unforgiving. If you take to much off, you can not replace it. So go slow, it is better to not take enough off the first time, and then go back and take just enough off.

If you go slow, and measure 3 or 4 times first, you will get away with cutting once. But if you have never done it before, I would find a buddy that can do it for you, but watch them do it and learn.

Also, you can get a piece of sheet metal from a hardware store and practice cutting out the panel on that.
