Windows Movie maker

Ive just started mucking around with Windows Movie Maker, have made a little movie and wanted to add some music to it, I got a friend to send me some songs, d/l'ed them but WMM wont let me use the files, I get this message (below)....copyright issues I suppose??? Yeh?

Any ideas of how I can get around this and use the music files?

try changing the song format.
also, sometime simply closing the program helps (and maybe closing the PC) i had that problem already.
 
Using a get-around to that would probably be illegal (correct me if I'm wrong) but if WMA's are copyrighted... they are copyrighted. :(
 
Thats why I always burn to mp3, not wma. I detest windows protection crap, it slows down the loading times for songs too, especially on my iRiver.
