Running XPPro, when I boot I get a popup labled "windows-no disk". If I click on cancel 3 or 4 times it disappears. then another popup "exception processing message" appears and once again if I click cancel 3 or 4 times it disappears. they do not re-appear until I reboot. Any ideas? Don.c

Click on run, type "msconfig" without the quotes, click ok. click on startup tab and look for any items that might cause that issue and uncheck it. You also should run Malwarebytes and Hijackthis. Follow instructions here.

Thanks,I tried checking for something in MSconfig then I ran Malwarebytes, AVG, and Webroot. Finally I did a restore back a couple of weeks, reinstalled Webroot Antivirus and Antispyware, reinstalled my firewall and hopefully cured the problem. Thanks for the help. Don C.
