Buy a small business license for upto 15 machines direct from Microsoft. That won't cost you anywhere near even what three OEM full install version disks for XP run typically. Do you own the pair or are those someone else's? For someone else they have to pay for a license if not buy their own copy of Windows.

And for something pertinent, that link explains why the recommendation for volume licensing was way out in left field and clearly lacks any kind of knowledge of the industry... Unless of course you happen to own a business, educational institution or government agency.

What hasn't changed is the fact that you can NOT buy volume licensing if you are not an educational, government or corporate entity. There's no sense in arguing that. As a Microsoft authorized vendor, partner and system builder I have to know these things, and I have to know who I can and can't sell licenses to. "Volume Licensing agreements are available through Microsoft partners and resellers." We have to submit the reg info to Microsoft (the same process as SQL Server CALs).
So yeah, good luck on that one.

You start this thread preaching volume licensing. I explain that volume licensing is not applicable to this thread. Then you bring in some old expired offer that you obviously just hit Google for that has absolutely NOTHING to do with volume licensing or your op in this thread, like it has some merit, some weight or in ANY way has ANYTHING to do with this thread.

What you missed was what was offered for XP with small business additional licensing not volume licensing that allowed for upto 15 machines on one license. The family rewards offer wasn't found on Google but was the introductory offer for Vista last year when it first came out.
