Windows Server 2008 R2 as Desktop Environment

Hi, I am going to use Windows Server 2008 R2 as my Desktop OS...I will install the "Desktop Environment" so it will look like Windows 7(Since the original Server 2008 was more like Vista, R2 should be Wind. 7 right?)

All my hardware is 64bit....Just wondering if 08 R2 will run fine with 8GB RAM and also play games...

thanks...i was hoping it would work...i hav 8gb,ddr3,1600mhz
andi5 2500k cpu...radeonhd6850...mostly using 08R2 bcuz i got it
free, dont havmoney forOS 7 yet...but hopingi canmake 08R2 look/wrk
similar to OS 7... :)
