Windows Start Up Noise Crackles

When i start my computer the normal windows start up sound keeps crackling.

Is this somthing i should be concerned about. I have made a backup as i am worried the hard drive might fail is there anything i can do to prevent this annoying sound.

Could just be your speakers/sound card.

I have surround sound and at startup the sub woofer pops sometimes, in my case its just the speakers getting turned on. I wouldnt be concerned about it unless you think its loud enough to blow your speakers or something.

I have tested speakers. And i am guessing as my speakers work when i tested my speakers using iTunes that my sound card is alright.

Well it has nothing to do with your hard drive so you're good there too.

could the file be corrupt. as it is not a major issue i don't mind just getting a bit annoying

Well, its an audio file i think, so i don't know if it is corrupt or not. If you're really ticked at it, you could attempt a format and see if that solves anything, if not, then its a piece of hardware, probably just the speakers starting up or the soundcard starting up or something.

Check the cord, make sure it is plugged in all the way.
