windows stop printing after Print Error

I have two printers. 1 HP LaserJet 1200 PCL and 2 Auto HP DeskJet 710C. For color printing, I use 710 and for others 1200 PCL.

The problem starts when I give wrong command to wrong printer. The Printer queue stops printing with status showing as "Error Printing" and then there is no way except to restart the computer then it will be ok.

I am just frustrated by restarting the PC over and over. Is there any other way to clean this error without restarting the PC?

Of course I did. The problem erupts when different printer's command goes to the different printer queue. For Example I gave print command to 1200 PCL but the printer connected to port was Deskjet 710C. That is it.

If it is a timeout error etc., it will be cleaned up. But when I wrongly do as above, I have to restart the PC to clean this error.

This is due to the spooler error!!!

Fix the printer spooler problem....

or this might be because you had connect the only one printer to the port may be thats why the error occurred...first you should connect both the printer to the same port and then give the print commend your printer will print perfectly then....if not let me know....

Thanks
Kevin
