Windows system files...

Apparently, some of my system files are damages. I know this by running sfc\scannow.

Is there a way to identify which files are damaged and repair them without having the disc?

Can I download them from somewhere?

It would help if you had your specs in your sig etc. Is this Win XP?

If so you'll need a XP disk.

It is, but you have to follow it carefully. Set a restore point first. Make sure you're Windows is completely updated and you're backed up.

I'm confused as to what to do once I get to that registry folder.

It's Windows XP MCE 2002. How updated is it going to get?

I am backed up and just created a restore point.

In the Setup folder, there is CDInstall, but the value is already 0.

I see nothing called I386.

I have the XP MCE ISO's. I'll upload them to Dropbox when I get home and send you a PM with the link.
