I just got a Biostar A760G M2+ mother board and an AMD Athlon X2 5600 cpu.
I'm using my original hdd that has xp on it. I did a windows repair...following steps I found in another thread that someone posted. It is running slow and for some reason every time I try to do the windows update it locks up internet explorer.
Also, when I open up IE it goes to ask.com...even though I set the home page as msn. I can't get off of that stupid ask.com page. Mozilla works fine.
I did an xp windows repair about 3 weeks ago and it was no problem...I have no idea what the deal is.
