I thought it would be a good thing to post since no one else has.
In case someone else here is running ZoneAlarm firewall: Do not install Windows Update KB951478! The update causes ZoneAlarm to deny all access to the internet. I made the mistake last night and I thought there was something wrong with the ISP but it turns out that ZoneAlarm cuts your connection for some reason when this update is installed.
Apparently you can get around this by setting your Internet Security to Medium in ZoneAlarm, but this isn't recommended for long periods and I advice you to do this perhaps only in order to download another firewall for the time being until Microsoft and the guys at ZoneAlarm have come up with a fix.
