Windows Update Problem:

Ok,my windows update has been sat in my taskbar for TWO days now and every time i hover my mouse over its on 0%,ive tried shutting down the wuacult(or something similar) in the processes menu but it just starts itself back up again so then i put the updates thing to not get updates itslef-still does it.Ive run norton and my adware program and there isnt any probs there cept norton is finding 'could be dangerous files' that cannot be deleted.My connection is broadband aswell so its not a connection thing.
Please help as i fear this may be lagging my system.

The wuacult is the autoupdate for Windows ME. So if you don't have ME then it could be some trojan.

At least one of them could clear your system...

Definitely a poopy (and incredibly sneaky) thing to have on your system If that doesnt fix it directly u can probably manually delete it off a recovery console boot.
