No, i won't. And i don't know anyone who's willing to upgrade to windows 8. The only reviews i read about w8 were bad reviews. I am excited though for windows 9. I'm pretty sure thy'll get that one right

not going to get it at all. Will be sticking with windows Vista on my desktop and no windows elsewhere. Simple reason is windows is only for games. Anything else can be done better with Linux for me.

Yeah, right there. I actually have two since my work gives me another student email. I got 4 unused Windows 8 Pro keys. I'm gonna run it in a virtual machine just to get used to it.

I have Windows 8 Pro Installed now as a dual boot on my laptop. The final version is better than what I remember from using the developer preview. The new interface is still weird but after a few hours of messing with the system I configured it more to my liking. Boot times are awesome. I think I was up and running in under 15 sec including a dual boot screen.

The part that I am not really liking is that the apps and the desktop programs are separate for some and not for others. For example when you install Chorme you get both the desktop version and an app version. So if you load Chrome on the desktop and off the stat screen you get 2 pages of Chrome that you can use.

For now I'll use Windows 8 on the laptop to get used to it.

windows 8 is vista the 2nd even though i run windows vista on my laptop

only becuase i cant play games in unbuntu and im too used to wondows xp and i want to try something new

The good thing about win8 us the metro look and the fluid User Interface.Also it will Boot fast,but the user will find it a as different sort of experience since even the start button is not there
