Windows Vista Keycode Not Recognised

I am running Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit operating system and recently I removed the HDD and RAM, refitted them, then wiped the HDD and once more removed the HDD and RAM and refitted them.

After refitting the HDD and RAM I did a fresh install of the O.S. However, when I tried typing in the keycode it stated thet this particular keycode was already installed on another computer, even though I know that it is not and I have done a fresh O.S. install of off the same disc before.

I am thankful to any replies that I receive as I only have about 10 days remaining of the 30 day verification deadline.

You have to call Microsoft. No other way (that we can discuss here) around it. When your attempt to activate fails, select the "call microsoft" (or "other ways to activate," I don't remember) option and they'll likely reactivate for you.
