Windows Vista OEM DELL Version

Hi, I install a Dell OEM Vista Ultimate on my PC. I don't have a dell but I have a dell OEM vista disc. My question is can i take off the "DELL" logo on my computer specification screen. When i right click to computer and check my specs it show da DELL logo and I want to know if I can take it off.



Please let me know. thanks
 
It's probably a file somewhere in your windows folder. Although i might mention your copy of vista is illegal as long as you're running it on anything but the original computer. Operating systems that come with dell computers carry non-transferable licenses.
 
I know for XP, you could download a program called TweakXP. I believe there is a similar program for Vista, but i'm not sure. You could also search the registry for the keyword "dell" and see which one is for the picture.

But as Admn said, this is a sketchy topic, since you cant use a Dell version of Vista on another PC.
