Windows vista problem...

Hey guys i just got my windows vista but i dont have a sound driver can somebody help me get one or tell me a site to download one it's boring to not have sound i usually listen music but now i dont have sound cuz i dont know where to get drive from on Windows XP i have disc that goes with my computer drivers and i just install it but now it's not working on windows vista or atleast i dont know how to install it please help me !!!!!!! thank you.

There is no generic soundcard driver. You have to find one specific to your motherboard(assuming you're using onboard audio)

Did you try the vista updates? I have the same problem when i installed vista in my laptop. My laptop uses onboard audio not sure about yours. But when i run the update i saw the audio driver was on the list of the updates. Installed it and the sounds works just fine now.

Let vista find it using the automatic installation, it will look for the appropriate driver on the internet.
