Windows vista updates are failing.

Hi.

My laptop keeps indicating that i have available updates, I have tried several times to update, however some of the updates are failing. My OS is windows vista.
Can anyone shed some light as to why this is, and if there is any way to rectify it.

You definately don't need the optional updates. On the important updates, try selecting them one at a time and install them and see if they complete. I was hoping they would all tie in to one program but they don't.
