Windows Vista ??

I have the Windows Vista Beta 2 ISO file. When I burn it to the DVD and then insert it, will it like repartition my hard drive or anything? Do I need to back up my files.
 
If your hard drive is partitioned it will give you the option to override a previous windows install or install a clean version on another partition. If it's not partitioned then it will install over your current version of windows. There are programs that can partition a hard-drive with Windows already installed on it. Partition Magic works well. If you have sensitive data on your disk now, the best bet would be to install a second drive and install it on there.
 
Im guessing you dont want to install it over your current version of Windows... so i would do what Kevin said and make a new partition, then install Vista on it.
 
Damn, thats what I should have done. I didn't even think of it. I installed over my current version, but I have a Windows XP disc.
