For anyone who has info on the new windows vista is it worth buying now? Or should i wait because its new and has a lot of bugs? Just wondering =)
 
its not worth buying right now. there are tons of blogs, websites, forum posts, etc which show that if you take the exact same high spec'd system all your benchmarks on average score 3 to 6% higher with windows XP. So you would be taking a 3 to 6% performance hit by upgrading.

This of course will change in like a year from now when all the developers catch up to the new technology.
 
I have it and I personally think its not worth the money right now, or worth the time installing. Sure it looks cool, but there are still alot of problems with programs and games not working right, and most likely it will just lower performance since it uses more of your computers resources.
 
i see..so wait till it debugs and wait till they make it more efficient than xp? space isn't a problem for me i think im getting a 320gb hard drive

Hard drive space isnt the issue, it's RAM that's the biggest issue since it uses alot more then XP does. It also uses more of your graphics card and processor then XP does (mostly because of Aero).
