Windows Wont Boot

On my family computer when I go to turn it on a black screen comes up and says "Alert! Cover was previsouly removed". I tried to re-boot in safe mode but it still happend. I have the faintest idea of what to do and I need to fix it ASAP.Thanks.

Nope. It never fell down or anything. Thats why I dont understand why it says cover previsouly removed.

ok, well if you can open the side of the case there should be a CMOS battery unplug it (take it out) wait like 20 sec. and put it back in, then tell me what happens.
