Windows XP 64 Bit?

Howdy just recently purchased my first 64bit system(AMD 4000+x2)

Just wondering if installing windows xp 64bit would be better than my traditional xp 32bit?

Im not interested in vista at this point in time

The only reason I would get the 64 bit version now is if you have over 3GB of RAM. Mainly because there is such a limited number of 64 bit applications that you won't notice a difference.

There aren't as many drivers for XP x64 as there is XP x86. If you want to do 64 bit computing, I suggest Vista x64, which has a lot more driver support than XP x64.
