windows xp compilation

hello dear all,
could someone please explain to me how to make my own windows compilation and then create bootable cd with it, what i am after is stuff the compilation with the software that i will need to be installed by default with windows. is there a particular software for that or any procedures that have to be followed?

If you want a bootable CD, it's free (if you have an XP CD) and legal. Download BartPE at http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ and install it. It takes your XP CD and makes a PE CD .iso image, which you can then burn. Micro$oft makes a version called WinPE, but it is only available to enterprise and IT customers.
