Hi all, I have this shared computer which run on Windows Xp. I always login as Administrator and have creates a lot of program icons on the desktop and the quick launch bar. When I login as another user all the icons are not there. is there a way to copy the administrators profile to the other user so I can use icons on the desktop and the quick launch bar?
Thank you.

If you are using the default administrator account and not one that was created by you, then you shouldn't be using it. The administrator account is a back door into your system when something goes wrong with your own account.

It's not that hard to create desktop icons and quick launch icons for the programs you use often.

That is why I try to use a different user account. It is not hard or difficult to create back those icons, just time consuming. sometime I do create a temporary account for a guess, it will be so much easier if I can just copy a setting from one user to another. is there a way to do it?
Thank you.

There is but there isn't. Just take the few minutes to make shortcuts on your desktop for the programs you want along with quicklaunch.
