Windows XP, how to connect to wifi?

Hi,
I recently made the switch from Vista to XP and can't figure out how to connect to wifi using XP. In Vista, all I had to do was flip the switch on my laptop, and browse for a network to connect to.

I have the following connections listed in my network connections:

1394 Connection Local Area Connection
Connected Network cable unplugged
1394 Net Adapter Intel(R) PRO/1000 PL Network Connection

Can someone help me figure out how to connect?

i don't think any of those are wireless adapters

go to control panel>system>hardware manager, and see if there's any unkown devices

go to toshiba's web site

there should be a support/drivers page, type in your computer's model #, and there should be drivers for your wireless card

once you install those, it's just as simple as vista
