Windows XP Mode

Well I wanted to use the Win XP Mode in Windows 7 Ultimate. And heres what I got. What should I do to fix it?

What version of 7 are you running? Also, your CPU may not have the "virtualization" technology XP mode requires.

Much better program IMO.

Hey Carey, you can get a patch from the XP Mode page to run it without HAV. My computer doesn't have HAV, and I run XP Mode and VB just fine. I prefer VirtualBox, though.

Different question but along the same lines...

How well does xp 32 bit run if you're on a 64bit host OS and running xp 32bit in virtual box? Decent? Not at all?

It should work. You should experiment instead of posting.

I run a 32bit xp install on a 64bit 7 home premium install just fine. I use virtual box though.

Interesting. I'll be trying that soon then. Until then I have 4 gigs of extra ram sitting on a shelf that won't do much in my xp box until I upgrade.
