I'm looking for a driver for a V.90 k56Flex HSP PCI modem for Windows XP if not is there a internal modem available that can dial in pulse mode since I don't have a touchtone phoneline. I tried a US Robotics modem and it only dials in touchtone mode even if I configure my modem to dial in pulse mode.

I went to the link and downloaded the pilots. But none are compatible with win xp since they were not tested to be compatible with windows xp and they don't have a microsoft numerical signature.

I don't follow when you say none are compatible with XP. Windows XP is one of the operating systems that is listed as being compatible.

If you are getting this message:

xp_error.jpg

then all that means is the driver hasn't been registered with Microsoft. But that doesn't mean that it's dangerous or that it won't work.

Not sure how to install driver

Im new with Windows XP home and not sure how to install the driver. Windows automaticaly detects my modem. I got to Control Panel/Modem and I don't get the hardware installation window:confused:

Do you mean it detects new hardware, or actually tries to install/do something with it? If you download the driver, then you can just install it like any other program where even the application was downloaded to. I guess I'm a little confused as to what you're asking now...

And perhaps ignore this part, but back to your original question, most modems should be able to dial in pulse mode, you might just have gotten a bad modem or some faulty drivers of some sort...
