I have legal XP Pro running on my laptop right now. I have to install a new HD. I don't have the original install disk, but I have the product key. This is not installed on any other machines and is up to date with SP2 etc. Can I use a different install disk and use my current product key to install XP Pro? I would still be using my one copy of XP Pro on one machine. Is that is legal? Thanks for any help!

Yeah, that's fine. It's perfectly legal to use a different disk that what came with it, and it's legal to use a copied disk as well. The only illegal part is using the same activation code on multiple machines.
