Windows Xp problem

everytime i start my other windows XP machine, as just after the logo appears and it starts up, a popup comes up that says he system could not log you on with a ctrl alt del style logon behind it then when i click ok, it takes me to the square icon usernames area, it is trying to automatically login to an old account we deleted. Before we deleted it, it would log straight into that all the time despite having other password protected users on. Can some please help me get this removed

Try booting into safe mode (Press F8 before boot screen) and attempt to log on as "Administrator". From there try doing a system restore to a time before the issue occurred.
