Right the reason why i am asking is i just ran in to problem while coding my Visual Basic 6 Pro Program, (A2 Computing course work)
i needed to add a reference. Project>Reference.
but when i did so i was presented with a message "error accessing the system registry"
on research i found this is due to a thing called Crystal reports (not sure what that is) But iam pretty sure i dont have that unless it goes by a very weird name.
anyway i resolved the problem by simply adding the reference to my project at another computer, which didn't have the problem, however i would like to fix this issue at my computer. on reasearch i also found it may be caused by having a currupt registry.
So could someone point me in the Direction of a reliable Free registry cleaner/fixer.
it is quite possible i have problems in the registry as not long ago i had (after the last OS install) BAD RAM problems which caused all sorts of problems
P.S. Kaspersky after a full system scan does report in Statistics that there was one corupt file.
