Windows XP, Sound won't work

1. I have been searching around the net. I have downloaded WDM_R244 (Realtek).

2. It says "No sound unit" (or whatever it's translated to in english)

It's all grey... you understand.

3. Some information about my computer;

Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version: 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 build 2600
X86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping GenuineIntel ~3401 Mhz
Fujitsu Simenens Scaleo T

I tried updating drivers but nothing happened, so either I downloaded the wrong ones or they just didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Right click on the device that needs a driver in device manager and click on properties, click on the details tab and give me the 4 digit vendor and device ID numbers. They look like this.

Download Service pack 3, I had problems with my on-board Realtek audio and SP3 solved everything.
