Windows XP SP2 Remote Shutdown?

I am running an old Athlon XP in my basement with a 3com RAID card on the system, I use it for mass storage of all my junk. The system is running Windows XP Professional SP2. I would like to know if there is a way to shut down the PC remotely so that I don't have to walk to the basement whenever the system needs to be powered off. I also don't want to have to install any third party software to do this.

Oh, and this can be executed either from a remote desktop or VNC type deal connected to the file storage system or from my main PC, either way works :)

When you're in the command prompt, type in shutdown -i, enter in the IP of the remote computer, and choose what you want to do.
