i made a post about a 500 $ computer and i was wondering if windows xp came with it or if i would have to buy it sepretley

You will need to buy XP seperatly. I would reccomend going with xp pro.

If you can, call the company you bought your computer from (if you are building your own) and ask for an OEM edition of Windows XP, which is like half the price of a normal windows xp because it's built for new computers. If you bought one from a company, then unless it's a crazy rip-off company then you'll have windows xp on it.

just about all new computers from the factory come with xp home
except macs of course

Hey I'm a little bit curious about Windows XP too, I'm gunna be making a new computer soon and I don't have a copy but my friend just bought a copy, is it ok to use the same serial number for both computers to install Windows?
