Windows Xp

I have windows xp on my computer but the toolbar and start menu look like it is from windows 98 though.... does anyone know how i can fix it ?? so it will look like windows xp??

start >> control panel >> taskbar and start menu >> start menu tab >> make sure start menu is marked and not classic start menu.

Did you tried your themes?
Right click>Properties.

Are you using any skinning software?

Ok. Right click on the start button. On the menu that pops up click on properties. Make sure that the tab at the top of the window that pops up is on Start Menu. If the tab is on Start Menu there should be two choices. Click on the one that says Start Menu. Since yours looks like Windows 98 start menu than it was probably set on Classic Start Menu.
