WINDVD 7 Platinum problems

So I've been having problems with Windvd 7 platinum. I have the full version and whenever i play a movie, it has cracking sounds in the background. I've installed all the codecs that I should have needed.

I was thinking it may be due to the "High Definition Audio Driver Package KB888111". Should I uninstall this from my computer? What do you guys think? Thank you!

Ah... when I try to play the movie in WINmedia player. I get a constant rhythm of cracking sounds in the back as well...

what could this be!? thanks

and yes, I've tried reinstalling sound drivers as well. Doesn't help. Installed all codecs too. Still doesn't help!
