Hi, is winme still usable? I have an old one from a past computer. I may have formatted away the contents/files? is that even possible? I am trying to run and install but wont read at startup and error messages from windows start attempts.
Was it *ever* usable? If you can find an old hard drive and MoBo it might be possible, but you have to determine if the effort will warrant the end result.
I think the only thing I enjoyed about ME was their boot disk.

I AGREE!! you wuold be better off going out and buying the cheapest e-machines you could and it would be 100 times better. You can find good net books for under $300 dollars. Well worth the time....
