WinXP 64-bit vs. 32-bit

the only difference i noticed while using x64 is that it loads a lot faster than x86. ( on startup and loading games ). but thats about it :)

The Win 9x kernel was 32-bit. Anyone saying any different needs to start smoking a different mix.

The general opinion I've gathered from the interwebs are that 64-bit versions boot faster and are just generally faster, but the extra restrictions (drivers must be signed, app compatibility etc) makes me wonder whether the performance benefit is worth it for home users.

PC eye blurbed about FAT16. Anyone who confuses a kernel with a file system shouldn't be posting on a computer forum.
